Boulder County Horse Association Equine Evacuation Information

If you require equine rescue in Boulder County the Boulder County Sheriff’s Department and Boulder County Horse Association have an official Emergency Call system in place to help equine victims of flooding in Boulder County. If you and/or your horse(s) or other livestock are in an emergency situation, please call 911.  If you need to be evacuated, please call the Boulder County Sheriff Dispatch at 303-441-4444.

As soon as it is safe for us to get to the site we will work closely with the Sheriff’s Department and  mobilize our network to get there as quickly as possible. If you have a truck and trailer available for evacuations, please call Kathie Hibbard at 303-772-2665 or 303-579-4974; or email her at hibbard@mesanetworks.net.
