What do you do with all that Baling Twine?

Baling twine, what do we do with it? I have seen it hanging from fences, in large balls in empty stalls, used to tie up my tomatoes, in my saddle bag in case a rein breaks, woven into mats, and the worse yet — placed in the trash and winding up in our landfills  for thousands of years…but can we recycle it?

The Longmont and Boulder Valley Conservation Districts and Boulder County are teaming up with a local recycling company to provide ag producers a practical way to recycle agricultural and horticultural plastics. To that end, they have created a short survey to help them better gauge your recycling needs.

They would like to create a recycling program for these plastics and need your input for a successful pilot program in 2015/2016.

Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey and submit it to them by November 20, 2015.  Your input will help them develop a recycling program that best meets your needs.
