This fun evening will be held at the historic Altona Grange. Mingle and make horse connections. Catch up with friends and make new ones. Your ticket includes all-you-can-eat pizza from Seb’s Wood Fired Pizza Truck and an annual BCHA membership! Monika Weber from Boulder County’s Office of Disaster Management will give us a comprehensive look at preparedness, risk assessment and what you and your horse can work on before disaster hits. Monika is a Disaster Management Coordinator for the Boulder Office of Disaster Management and also volunteers at Colorado Horse Rescue in her free time. With a background in higher education, she is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that help individuals and organizations better understand and prepare for disasters.  She enjoys connecting people, ideas, and resources to build a more confident and prepared community.

8:30-9 Wrap-up, with more time to schmooze
