Volunteer

What’s more fun than handing out ribbons! Thank you Roxanne Perkins —you are the best. Volunteer for the October Fun Show at the Boulder County Fairgrounds.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the equine community in Boulder County!

BCHA is an all-volunteer, not for profit organization, and your participation matters! Our association needs you to help us keep things fresh and active in the community! Want to find out more about available committee/board positions? We meet for two hours every second Tuesday of the month. If you would like to connect, send us an e-mail and we will send you a link to join our ZOOM call.

Ready to Volunteer?

Think about getting involved in your horse community—it’s a great way to make many wonderful friends. Are you a planner? We could use your help scheduling clinics and educational lecture, getaways, and trail rides. Can you represent BCHA at an Open Space meetings? Do you like to write? We could also use stories for our blog and e-mail news. Or simply e-mail us and say, “please add me to your volunteer list for help at an event like the Fun Show in October!”

BCHA has several positions and projects that need your help:

  • Board Members (treasurer, secretary)
  • Committee Member (events)
  • Event Volunteers (e.g. Fun Show, Lectures, Clinics)
  • Membership Drive Coordinator
  • Newsletter and Blog (editor)
  • Liaison with Public Land Managers on equestrian issues
  • Trail Ride Organizer/Leader
