The 2019 BCHA Fun Show brings equestrians and horse lovers together from Boulder County and nearby front range communities for a day of relaxed equestrian classes, fun games, and races. Come join the fun, or volunteer and help us make this years show the best ever!

Ages 6 through 90!
Show Judge: Pam Nicholls
Show Manager: Carmen Porter
Awards: 1st through 5th Place Ribbons and High Point for each age group
Registration: $5 per rider if you pre-register ($10 day of show)
Entry Fee: $5 per class if you pre-register by October 17th / $7 per class day of show. BCHA members receive 3 classes for free.
Please e-mail us and let us know what you are interested in volunteering. Morning and afternoon shifts available. Volunteer positions include:
Registration
Help at the front desk processing the show registrations and handing out rider numbers
Morning shift starts at 8:00 AM, need three volunteers
Afternoon Shift starts at Noon
Parking/stall manager
Supervise the parking of trailers and any cars as they arrive in the morning, and assign stalls for horses:

Gatekeepers
Call out for class participants, and get them into the arena for classes.
Shifts: morning and afternoon
Announcer
This fun position announces classes, placings, sponsors, etc.
Shifts: Morning shift starts at 8:00 AM, need one volunteer / Afternoon Shift starts at Noon, need one volunteer
Ring steward
Assistant to the judge and announcer.
Shifts: Morning and afternoon shifts available
Runners
Bring the class lists to gatekeeper and announcer, bring placings from ring steward to announcer and then to office for recording
Shifts: Morning and afternoon shifts available
Gymkhana Set-up/Break-down
Manage the various gymkhana equipment and set-up
Shifts: Need two volunteers/afternoon shift
Gymkhana Timers
Assist in timing
Shifts: Need two volunteers/afternoon
Ribbon Handler
What fun to pass out ribbons!

Community Outreach Sponsors
Reach out to the community to obtain sponsors for classes ($15/class)
